Marilynn O'Neill Roche

Marilynn grew up in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Notre Dame de Sion High School in Kansas City in 1958. After high school, she attended the University of Paris, (Sorbonne), from 1958-59 and received a BA from Mills College In Oakland, California in 1962. She received a Ph.D. in French Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1976. She served as an assistant Professor at the College of William and Mary from 1977-1998.

Marilynn was preceded in death by her beloved son, Paul Andrew Cloutier in 2009, and by her sister, Joan R. Weigley in 1997.

Marilynn is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Morris, of Big Bear City, CA and grandsons, Jeremy and Tanner; her sister, Constance Trowbridge of Cape Coral, FLA; a niece, Laura W. Ross of New York City, and a nephew, Eric Trowbridge of Washington, D.C.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bede Catholic Church on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11am. Burial will follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
