Norman Tucker Thomas, 90, passed away on February 11, 2025. A native of Williamsburg, he was born on March 29, 1934. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Thomas; parents, Conrad and Maedell Thomas; and grandson, Logan Thomas.
Norman was a proud member of the U.S. Army, serving overseas during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and painter, who enjoyed music and playing guitar. He was also a great woodworker. Above all else, he loved visiting Nags Head with his family.
He will be missed by his sons, Norman William Thomas (Marsha) and Robert E. Thomas (Michelle "Candy"); grandchild, Brandon; step-grandchildren, Paul, Diana, and Cait; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Skyla; and his sister, Linda Jones (Tom).
Visitation will take place at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg on Thursday, February 20 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Dr., Williamsburg on Friday, February 21 at 11:00 AM.
