

Paul Edward Morgan, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away in the early morning of December 31, 2014, at the age of 77. He had been looked after by his loving wife, Betty Jane (Danna) Morgan for several years while struggling with the complications of Alzheimer’s and diabetes. Paul was born in Baltimore, MD, where he was raised by his parents Talmadge and Ollie Mae Morgan. He married his high school sweetheart, Betty, in1956. He served in the United States Army for 3 years. After his military service, he enrolled in the University of Maryland and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering in 1963. After college graduation, his career took Paul and his family to several places including Severna Park, MD, Culpeper, VA, Janesville, WI, Bridgewater, NJ, Chappaqua, NY, and Eden Praire, MN. His final home was Williamsburg, VA where he always dreamed of retiring and maintaining an active lifestyle that included golf and skeet and trap shooting. Paul was a loyal parishioner of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church for many years.
Paul is survived by his wife Betty; his daughters, Karen Davis, Peggy Paper, and Camille Alberti; his son-in-laws, Mark Davis, Anthony Paper, and Mark Alberti; his 6 grandchildren, Katherine Fagan, Kenneth Fagan III, Kelly Fagan, Morgan Davis, Alison Davis, and Chase Alberti; and his cousin Camile Walthall.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 10th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 11th at 2:00p.m. at Williamsburg United Methodist Church, 500 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185.
