Ralph G. Brown (Gerald) fell asleep in death Saturday, December 14th, 2013. He was born March 16th, 1934, in Princeton, WV, to Ralph W. Brown and Lotus Turner Brown. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Kay Malone. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Umberger Brown; brothers, S. Wayne Brown and Charles L. Brown (Serena); and sister, Joyce Reed.
Gerald retired in May 2012, after almost 60 years as a Civil Engineer with VDOT and Branscome, Inc. Gerald was an elder and active member of the Williamsburg Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 50 years. He leaves behind a host of spiritual brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters who have benefitted from his wisdom, experience, and calm, dignified character.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, December 21st, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5493 Mooretown Rd, Williamsburg, VA.
