Robert “Bert” A. Ross, 61, of Toano, VA, passed away on July 13, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold E. Ross; mother(s) Lois Posey Ross and C. Rhadine Reed Ross.

Bert was a graduate of Weir Senior High School in Weirton, W.V. and Hobart Institute of Welding in Troy, OH. He was a Master Mechanic for the College of William and Mary. Bert loved motorcycles and hot rods, and he also enjoyed building model hot rods.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Patty Lindsey; brothers, Richard Ross (Josephine Murphy Ross), Ron Ross (Lori Roach Ross), Roger Ross (Vanessa Caudill Ross); sister, Rhonda Ross Bruich (late Mitch Bruich); nieces, Rachael Hawood and Kaitlin Ross; and nephew, Ronnie Ross (Ashley Mertens Ross).

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
