Tom Cooper, 42, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend passed away on March 21, 2026. He was always a source of laughter with a quick, welcoming smile. His biggest love was for his children.
Tom was raised in Williamsburg since grade school. He had an extensive, big family that included many, many friends who loved him. He enjoyed owning a tile business and was always was proud of his talent.
He is survived by his children, Aubrie, Karson, and Christopher Cooper; his parents, Karen Higgins (Michael) and Lee Cooper (Lynn); his brother, Nicholas Cooper (Mandy); sister, Sarah Cooper; step-siblings, Natalie, Mark, Lisa, Mike Higgins, and Ellen and Brian Westby, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and girlfriend Dana Morris.
He was preceded in death of his grandparents, Katherine and VO Godwin, Nellie and Eddie Cooper, and Thomas E. Carson, Sr.; aunts Brenda Howell and Jo Ann Williams; and uncle, Thomas E. Carson, Jr.
Interment will be at a later date.
