

Allie graduated from Livingston Academy in Tennessee and married the love of her life, Donald Clendenan, on May 31, 1962, in Livingston, Tennessee. Together they shared a remarkable 62 years of marriage filled with love and devotion.
A dedicated homemaker and a skilled secretary for community education within the Williamston Community Schools, Allie was deeply committed to her family and her community. She was an active member of the Williamston Free Methodist Church and the Child Study Club, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to causes close to her heart.
Allie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Eugene McDonald, Margie Peacy, and Justin McDonald. She is survived by her beloved husband Donald; her children Denise Derke (Brian), Deborah Healy (Mike), David Clendenan (Tina), and Donna Clendenan; grandchildren Brandon Derke, Connor Derke (Kennedy), Katie Clendenan, Kyle Clendenan (Olivia), Alexandria Fulton (Everett Henes), Caleb Clendenan, and Preston Healy; as well as great-grandchildren Cooper, Jameson, and Theodore. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them.
Allie’s life was a testament to faith, family, and service. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
A visitation for Allie will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Williamston Free Methodist Church. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will take place immediately after the funeral service at Summit Cemetery in Williamston, Michigan.
