Obituary of David "Dave" Paul Bohlmann
David "Dave" Paul Bohlmann, originally of New Berlin, Wisconsin, passed away on March 9, 2023. Dave was born on April 5, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of Karen Ida (Schloemilch) and James Allen Bohlmann, Sr. From a young age Dave became a sports enthusiast. He was known for recounting his glory days of wrestling and playing softball, he would be found watching any Wisconsin sports competitions being held on any given day. Best of all, he was an avid attendee at his daughters sporting events, always on the sideline cheering them on; and eventually, later on in life, when weather permitted, you could find Dave on the golf course enjoying a round of golf with friends and colleagues. Dave worked as a processing engineer and took pride in his hard work and achievements. He had a friendly nature to him which created many lasting relationships throughout the course of his career. Dave will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and ability to make sure everyone in the room had a good time. He is survived by his mother Karen Gracz; step-father, Thomas Gracz; his children, Samantha (Lukas) Miller, and Stephany Bohlmann; step-children, Marguerite LeBlanc and Bruce Hiatt; a step-grandson, Dayton Hiatt; grandson, Emmett Miller; dear friends: Raynie Bohlmann, and Matt Boertman; and many, many, many friends. Dave was preceded in death by; his father, James Bohlmann, Sr.; and his brother, James Bohlmann, Jr. A memorial visitation for Dave will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle Street, Williamston, MI 48895, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Dave Bohlmann Memorial Fund; (https://www.gofundme.com/dave-bohlmann-memorial-fund) to help the family cover funeral expenses and start a college fund for his grandson.
