Born April 2, 1922, in Highland Park; died February 8, 2011, at the age of 88. Doris enjoyed the outdoors, swimming, biking, hiking and ice-skating, and loved spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Tomas Jackson, and brother, Harold Montgomery. Surviving are her children, Joan (Rich) Chevalley, George (Diane) Jackson, Jane (Larry) Schwentor, Jean Jackson and James (Diane) Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Papst-Ramsay. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11, at noon at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:45 p.m. in Acacia Park, Beverly Hills. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday 1-hour prior to the service.
