Douglas was born on April 1, 1968 in Lansing, to Thomas F. Grider and Diane K. Dietz and died on July 11, 2012 at the age of 44. He graduated from Portland High School and was a service manager for Dietz Pool East, Inc. in Williamston, MI. Douglas is survived by his children Austin, Dakota and Sierra Dietz of DeWitt and their mother, Rena; parents Thomas F. Grider (Marie) of Holt and Diane K. Dietz of Williamston; brother Gregory T. (Jenifer) of Holt, and grandmother Virgilline Dietz of Williamston. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 4:00pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel, 205 E, Middle St., Williamston with Rev. David E. Cokonougher, Pastor of the House of Prayer officiating. A Memorial Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 3:00-4:00pm. In memory of Douglas, contributions to an Education Fund for Doug’s children may be made to Gregory Dietz c/o of Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel.
