Edith is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Northrup; brother, Floyd Acker; and sister, Beatrice Silsby.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, David (Sharon) Acker; sister in law Josephine Acker; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Edith worked for the Secretary of State of Michigan for over 30 years. She was an active member of her church, Family Life Wesleyan formerly Rowley Wesleyan. She also was involved in bus ministry through the church and enjoyed working with children in the AWANA program.
Services for Edith will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019, 11:00 a.m. with a 1 hour prior visitation at Family Life Wesleyan Church, 3720 Rowley Road, Williamston, MI 48895. A committal service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on February 18, 2019 at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Rd, Lansing, MI 48917.
