Frank D Russell

We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Frank D. Russell, on May 14, 2023. “Hank”, as he was known by family and friends was an avid horseman, enthusiastic golfer, and a conscientious hunter. His greatest passion was his family, and through the years he became the patriarch, a man who extended guidance and support to his beloved family. Hank was joyfully married to Norma Jean (Hardy) until her passing in 1996. He leaves behind his wife Katherine (Ellsworth); son Mark R. (Carol) Russell; daughters Marcy Russell and Lynell (Mark) Janetzke; Grandchildren Kenneth D. (Amal) Russell, Katelyn T. Russell, Brooke J. Janetzke, and Kyle S. (Katie) Sutherland; stepchildren Scott T. Ellsworth and Amanda M. Ellsworth; Great-grandchildren Lilian G. Russell, Wyatt D. Russell, Claire J. Russell, Jack S. Sutherland, and June M. Sutherland. He will be greatly missed by his siblings Robert (Sandra) Russell, Georgia (Harold) Murray, Patricia (William) Murray, Connie (Guy) Molby, and Merle (Doug) Hilderbrandt. He was preceded in death by his first love Norma Jean Russell, and his step-grandson Christian Kraus Faber.

There will be a celebration of Hank’s life on Friday, May 19 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Lynell and Mark Janetzke. His family extends an invitation to Hank’s family and friends to join them between the hours of 3 and 6 PM.
