

Frederick "Fred" Tyndal Pardee, age 91, passed away on February 28, 2026. Born March 22, 1934, in Howell, Michigan. Fred lived in Williamston, Michigan, his whole life. He will be remembered as a loving, ambitious, and smart man who cared deeply for those around him.
Fred was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers, loyalties he carried with pride and enjoyment. He also loved animals, especially cats, and his affection for them was a familiar and cherished part of his everyday life. Fred also loved spending time outdoors and tending to his garden.
Frederick was the son of Frank Pardee and Eva Frederickson. He graduated from Williamston High School in 1952 and later worked for many years at Lennox Hamlin Heating in Williamston as a furnace installer and sheet metal worker, a career marked by steady dedication and skill.
A faithful member of the Nazarene Church, Frederick lived out his Christian faith with constancy and conviction.
Fred married Joyce McGowan on September 25, 1954; she preceded him in death on March 17, 2000. He later married Lorainne McGowan on November 14, 2003; she preceded him in death on March 19, 2004. He later married Ruth Stone on June 14, 2008; she preceded him in death on April 7, 2014.
He is survived by his children, Gayle Pardee of Haslett, MI, Sharon (Leroy) Kinne of Monroe, MI, and Brenda (Frank) Cheap of Monroe, MI; and by seven grandchildren: Christopher (EJ) Nicol, Heather (Nathan) Lockhart, Paul (Lisa) Johnson, Michael (Jennifer) Nicol, Sarah (Jared) Chalfant, Casey Cheap, and Jesse Cheap. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 East Middle Street, Williamston, MI 48895, on March 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at the same location on March 5, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Summit Cemetery, Beeman Rd, Williamston, MI 48895, on March 5, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
Pallbearers will be Paul Johnson, Cole Johnson, Jesse Cheap, Casey Cheap, Jared Chalfant, and Nathan Lockhart.
