Julie attended high school in Williamston and later worked as a seamstress. Her claim to fame was altering Magic Johnson's pants while working at a men's clothing store in Okemos. Julie always thought of others first and did anything she could to help. After many years of caring for her daughter, Sara, Julie became a medical assistant at TCI. She loved shopping at garage sales and dollar stores, where she often picked up personalized gifts for friends and family. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting, quilting/sewing, crafting, and making jewelry. Julie loved her family, especially her grandkids, and nieces and nephews. She enjoyed her time in Florida with her mother, where she made a lot of friends. Many friends looked forward to a card in the mail from Julie.
Julie is preceded in death by her father, Aage Jensen; daughter, Sara Anne Lamb; and nephew, Joseph Jake Parks.
Left to cherish Julie's memory are her mother, Joyce Jensen; children, Amanda Lamb, Brandon (Stacy Green) Lamb; 5 grandchildren, Krisanne, Mari, Kevin, Ethan, William, and coming soon, Evelynn; brothers, Brian A.
