Margery Marie Schmidt

Williamston, MI

Margery was born on March 8, 1931, the daughter of Clare & James Hiles, and passed away on August 12, 2016.

She was a wonderful wife and mother. Marge was very active in the Red Cross Blood Drive, she volunteered at the Wheatfield Township voting division, she was a 4-H leader for many years, and she loved gardening, cooking, and quilting. Marge was a tireless chauffer to many school functions and games. She was busy in many ways to help the ones she loved and anyone who needed help.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents; and grandson, James Robert Schmidt.

She is survived by her daughter Christine (Robert) Rogers; sons, Robert (Denise), Richard (Ruth), Steven (Diane), Lary, and Eric (Edwina) Schmidt; 34 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016 and

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle St. Williamston, MI., with visitation one hour prior to service.
