We are saddened to learn our friend and godfather to our daughter, Jessica, has lost his battle with cancer.  Mark sent Jessica a classical book every year on her birthday and inside were words of wisdom from this great man.  She now reads those books to her children.  We send our thoughts, prayers and condolences to Nancy and her family.  We will honor Mark through the memories he gave us.

Mark was my roomate at MSU during the first semester of our Freshman year. Class, kindness, intelligence, respect...just a warm, solid, wonderful, decent guy. Intelligent? We did not know he was two years younger than the rest of us for a long time. A college Freshman at 16! Brilliant! I am so sad.

Mark and I met and became friends while attending MSU in the 70's. We had some common threads in that our families were in the Williamston/Webbervile area. I am very saddened at his passing and send my condolences to his family.

One of my best friends in high school and we lived in the same dorm our freshman year at MSU. Would have been at the funeral if I had know.

I had the privilege of welcoming Mark into the Outside Plant Department when he  started at Michigan Bell.  We worked together for almost 20 years and I watched him help anyone who needed assistance.  Mark was brilliant and was always the go to guy everyone could depend on.  I enjoyed his positive attitude and how he always talked about his family in a respectful and loving way.

I was honored to work with Mark the last 10 years on optical networking at ATT.  He will be greatly missed and I will miss my MSU updates during football season.

I have had the pleasure of working with Mark at AT&T Mobility for five years. He was always such a kind and gentle man, whose work ethic and execution were second to none. We are all very proud of the man that he is. I am sending up prayers for peace that surpasses all understanding for Nancy, their children, and family.

I will miss Mark, he always was a gentleman and a great person to be around. We played Racquetball for many years. He will be missed.

I worked in the next cubicle for the past 4-5 years. Mark was always willing to help and we shared many laughs together. I'll miss him.
