Nate graduated from Williamston High School, class of 1994. When he was younger he participated in 4-H. His first job was at the Williamston Library. He went on to work various jobs in the restaurant industry, most recently at Spag's Bar & Grill in Williamston.
Nate had quite a few nicknames, including N8 Dawg, Bro Bro, and Uncle Natey. Nate was an avid reader and enjoyed many genres of TV shows and movies. In fact, he was fluent in TV and movie quotes. He was known for reciting obscure quotes as much as he was for crafting his own witty or sarcastic remarks. He was also a big gamer. Whether it be a tabletop, PC, or console game, he was up for it. Nate loved putting on fireworks displays for family and friends, either at home or in Lake City, where he regularly went on family camping trips. He enjoyed fishing and a good bonfire, and he could often be found traversing the woods with one of the many walking sticks he carved. Nate continually expanded his survival skills and was ready for any kind of apocalypse, zombie or otherwise. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Nate is survived by his loving parents, Bruce and Janis Britten; sisters Tracy (Matthew) Palazzolo and Tammy (Lucas Potter) Britten; and nephews Caiden and Cas Palazzolo.
A visitation for Nathan will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 East Middle Street, Williamston, MI 48895, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
