Sandra Teresa Van Note Unrue left for heaven on December 29, 2010, surrounded with family and friends; born May 11, 1934 in Lansing. Sandra was a lifetime resident of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Unrue, parents, Charles P. and Teresa (McGraw) Van Note and brother, Steven Van Note. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Joe Unrue; sons, John, Mark and Paul Unrue; grandchildren, Steven, Cameron, Alex, Erica and Charles Unrue; and brother, David P. Van Note. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 6, 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 157 High Street, Williamston. The family will receive friends for a gathering from 9:30 until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence, 3411 Stoneleigh Drive, Lansing, MI 48910 in memory of Sandra.
