Nellie Harrison

Nellie M Harrison passed away peacefully at Vidant Inpatient Hospice on Monday, July 15, 2013. Nellie was born August 3, 1934 to Roscoe and Gladys Roberson Mizell. On August 4, 1952 she married Eli David "E.D" Harrison who preceded her in death March of 2008.

Nellie was a member of Rose of Sharon Free Will Baptist Church where she was active and faithful until her stroke in 2008.

Nellie is survived by her four sons, David and wife Linda of Raleigh, James and wife Oneda Concord, Richard and fiancee' Anne Massey of Greenville and Paul and wife Kay of Bear Grass. 7 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. Sisters Peggy Biggs of Bear Grass and Yvonne (Bob) White of Powhatan VA,, brother Horace Mizelle and wife Linda of Rocky Mount, and brother-in-law Billie (Susie) Harrison of Bear Grass.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 1:00 AM at the Rose of Sharon FW Baptist Church with Rev Bryant Hines officiating; burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30-10:45 AM before the funeral and other times at the home of Paul and Kay Harrison 1245 Cowan Road Williamston NC 27892.
