Barry F. Brown

Barry F. Brown, age 82, of Williamsville, New Barry F. Brown of Williamsville (Formerly Sauquoit), NY, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024. . He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Julia (Karpinski) Brown, Father of Cheryl (James) Hereth of Clarence, and Cynthia (Daniel) Breeze of Tonawanda; Grandfather of Nathaniel and MJ Breeze, and Lucy and Benjamin Hereth along with numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Family will be present to receive friends on Friday, November 15 from 4-7PM at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10AM followed by Interment at Lancaster Rural Cemetery. Born July 12, 1942 in Rome, NY to Sarah (Condon) and Herman Brown, Barry was preceded by his parents and two sisters, Bernice (Anthony) Schilling and Beatrice (William) Granacki. Barry graduated from St. Aloysius Academy, Rome, NY, and Powelson Business Institute, Syracuse, NY majoring in Accounting. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force, 1963-1967. Barry returned to Central New York, working in various positions, including owner of West Winfield Hardware & Furniture before spending over 25 years working as an Accountant at Fitzgerald, DePietro, & Wojnas, CPAs, P.C. in Utica. Barry was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and maple sugaring. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Hospice Buffalo and Palliative Care or considerations of donating blood to any local blood bank in Barry’s memory.
