Henry Charles Lennon (Great Grandson of Charlie)

Charlie and Marge were a memorable part of my childhood.  My Mom and Dad, Kitty and Bill, were their friends and we had many good times at their home on Fisher St.  My best to his family.

My dad Robert  “Bob” Lennon was Uncle Chuck’s younger brother. Going to Uncle Chuck and Aunt Margaret’s was always very exciting for us. Dad loved his brother very much. It was always a great time. Aunt Margaret’s signature laugh was so great to hear...I don’t ever remember her being in a less than great mood. Uncle Chuck was always so welcoming and it was so clear he was all about family. I always remember the parties and it was always so much fun. They had so many friends that came and just enjoyed each other’s company. The laughter and conversation was very enjoyable. I loved my visits and my sleep overs with the girls Kathy and Colleen. ..they were one of the greatest highlights of my young life, being with my cousins was so enjoyable. There is nothing like family and Uncle Chuck loved and was so loved by his family. We lost touch in the later years,  moving away and everyone busy living their own lives, but the memories will  always remain in my heart. 

Charlie was a big part of my life when I was young.  We had many family picnics at “Marge and Charlie’s”.  He was  great at having parties and fun to be around.  Full of conversation, We always had fun and always looked forward to another picnic.  I remember his train set up in the basement, Genesee beer( not that I was old enough to drink it!) and always Marge’s great laugh.  It was loud and full of happiness, making us all laugh.  They had some good trips with mom and dad too.   Charlie loved his family and was always so proud of each of them.  He will be missed , I am sure.  What a wonderful life he had!   Mickey

Mr Lennon was such a wonderful man and so proud of Kevin.......I can remember him sitting in their dining room discussing the happenings of the day.....warm thoughts about this caring man.  I remember that he always had a smile on his face and always had good things to say about people.  He adored Kevin and David and I know that this loss will be hard  but try and remember that smile and the laughter that you shared....that is the good stuff!

Very sorry for your loss! Always loved getting together with both Marg and Charlie! Loved Marg's laugh! It was definately contagious!! Our summer picnics at their home were always a good time! If you are able to get together, it would be my honor to attend! Seeing you guys again would be wonderful!

My deepest condolences to the family on the passing of Charlie.  Although Ive  only known him for a short time while he was a resident  of Brompton Heights he was always such a pleasant person never complained  and everyone liked him.  He was so fortunate to have such a supportive loving family he definitely raised them right and you just knew he was a great dad  and family man.  He will be missed! 

He was always glad to see us. He had a contagious smile and always offered kisses & hugs.  He raised a beautiful family that was very important to him and him to all of them. He will be sadly missed from all the holiday gatherings. Love to all of you. You had a precious dad.💕
