James “Jim” Leopold, of Amherst, entered into rest on May 20, 2021 at age 96. Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Juhl) Leopold; devoted father of Lynn (David) Schrader, Michelle Shufelt, Kelly (Rick) Pettis and the late Steven J. Leopold; cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren; loving son of the late Michael and Euterpe Leopold; dear brother of Mary (late Thomas) Bagen and the late Theodore (late Leticia) Leopold; also survived by loving nieces and nephews and many dear friends. A private interment will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery. Jim was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII.
