Nancy L. Boyd

She is predeceased by her husband James (Alf) Boyd. Born in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania on July 3, 1935, to May and Francis Herold, who preceded her in death. Nancy is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Linda Stonish (Mark), Brenda Foley (Joe) and their sister Nancy Watson (Tom). Forever cherished and remembered by her grandchildren Cody (Jessica) Stonish, Christopher Stonish, Julia and Sean Foley. Later in life it gave her great joy to spend time with her great grandson, Finley. Finn, who affectionately called her Gigi, would climb up on her lap and give the best hugs, hold her hand and quietly talk, all to the endless delight of Gigi. She is survived and remembered fondly by her loving sister Janet (Robert) Green. She is predeceased by her brothers Glen (Flo) Herold and Richard Herold. And, survived by many nieces and nephews. Nancy was the manager of the Arnella Bridal Shop in Saxonburg, PA and worked for over 30 years in sales for Bon-Ton. She doted on her family and loved spending her time with her grandchildren making cookies and loved celebrating Christmas. Nancy enjoyed attending her grandchildren's numerous events and milestones. She also enjoyed family vacations and returning to her hometown of Saxonburg, PA. to visit family and lifelong friends. She spent her life dedicated to her family, which filled her with endless joy. Nancy, Mom, Grandma, Nana and Gigi will be missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for the kind and loving person she always was. Family will be present to receive friends for visitation and refreshments on Friday February 21, 2025, from 4-7PM, with a Memorial Service at 6:30pm, at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville.
