May 27, 1937 - March 8, 2026 of Cheektowaga, NY. Died peacefully surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 63 years to Elizabeth (nee Zimmer) Cudeck; devoted father of Kathleen (Carl) Vella and Eric R. Cudeck; loving son of the late Bernard and Mary (nee Saulnier) Cudeck; grandfather “Boppa” of Cerina and Addison Herberger; brother of Romaine Cudeck and the late Robert (Frances), Bernard (Ann), Donald (Dolores), Norman (Lucille) Dorothy, Frances (Don) Ziemann and Mary Fix; brother-in law of Gary Fix; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard's career at the University at Buffalo spans 44 years as a Director in Facilities. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica at a later date. Memorials may be made in Richard’s memory to OLV National Shrine and Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna, NY.
