Rosemary was my third grade math teacher at St John's  1974-1975. She was a wonderful teacher always encouraging and supportive. My most sincere prayers and condolences for her family in their time of loss.

Rosemary was a wonderful friend of mine over 40 years. We raised our kids together. We each had 4 children of similar ages,  and they were also close friends. We built a neighborhood family. 
 She was always there for me offering her kindness and wisdom. We shared good times and bad knowing we had each other to lean on. We spent every christmas eve together and celebrated our children's important life events together. 
She was always thoughtful and loving and took great care of her parents as well as her cousins. Rosemary always thought of others before herself. She was charming, sweet, soft spoken, and always elegant. I will miss her greatly.
 My sincere condolences to Michael, Andrew, Kevin, Matthew, Hope, and family. I will always cherish her in my heart forever.

I am so saddened by the loss of my dear friend, Rosemary. Her dedication to family was inspirational.. her welcoming, kind and soft spirit made all who knew her feel like they were home. She had a lovely sense of humor, as well as an infectious laugh and smile. Aside of her family, her dogs, her garden, autumn and home were what she seemed to truly love and find comfort in most. In this, I found her to be so relatable, loving, down to earth, and wonderfully encouraging. 
I’m thankful she has peace, and that she is in a place surrounded by love, family and friends in her next eternal chapter. She will truly be missed.

I met sweet Rosemary at the hair salon. We were sitting next to each other with the color on our hair and  talking. My first thought was I would love to be friends with her. Well our appointments continued to overlap and we became friends. She introduced me to Rosemary D. and for years we have scheduled our appointments together! Every four weeks we would catch up and see which one of us had the best crazy story to share! Oh how I will miss Rosemary’s friendship, kindness, and quick sense of humor. We had fun making Cheryl and then Carmella crazy with our laughter, husband funny situations and of course taking about our much loved grandchildren.  She was a gift I will always cherish and will miss her every day.

In the early 90s I began house cleaning for Rosemary. That's when she lived on Depew. I immediately admired her. She was one of the kindest people I ever met . I continued cleaning for her when she moved to the new house. Each time I was there we always had great conversation. In those conversations I learned how important her family, friends, and pets were to her. She always said she just wanted her children to be happy. She cared deeply for everybody. I remember how she helped her cousins when they were sick. She helped them till the end of their lives. She was a compassionate and loving soul. I used to joke with her and tell her she reminded me of Caroline Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie. She was that lovely. Rosemary was a doll. A beautiful loving doll. I can't express how much I loved her and how painful it is that she's no longer here. I stopped cleaning for Rosemary in 2017 when I moved to Las Vegas after my mother's passing. Rosemary and I continued to stay in touch via text. We would text about anything and everything. We continued the conversations . She was so happy and enjoyed the meaningful things in life . She was crazy about her grandchildren. She loved her yard. Her dogs. Her friends/ family. She would tell me to come back to Buffalo because she missed me. I can't even imagine the world without her in it. This is a very difficult loss for all those who loved her. I want to believe that our beautiful Rosemary is in heaven reunited with her loved ones that went before her. Reunited with her beloved pets. How she loved those dogs . I want to believe that Rosemary is happy and comforted by this great reunion. May God bless her. I miss her so much . I look forward to the day I will see her again. My condolences to her wonderful husband and children. Please keep Rosemary's beautiful spirit alive. She just wants you all to be happy... I love you Rosemary. Your beautiful memory will be with me till the end of my life.💔

I am very sorry to hear of Rosemary’s passing. She was always kind to my daughters, Vera and Sylvia, and had a gentle presence and wry sense of humor that I really appreciated. I’ll remember the generosity of her hospitality, her sense of style and decoration, and the beautiful Thanksgiving dinners she and Mike hosted. She carried herself with wisdom and warmth.

It was always a pleasure to spend time with her and Mike and their lovely family. I know how deeply she cared for them, and how proud she was of them. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Being a friend of Matthew’s for 30+ years, I spent plenty of time in the Blinkoff household. Mrs. Blinkoff (or Mrs. B as I called her) always welcomed us with a warm smile. As a child/teenager, the snack cupboard at the Blinkoff house was the stuff of legend and since we were there so much, Mrs. B would accept our input as to what she should purchase. It was almost like she accepted us like her own children. Her generosity and warmth never diminished as I would often find myself at the Blinkoff household for holidays and other celebrations. It meant the world to me that she extended an invitation for a family dinner so that she could meet my fiancée (now wife) and ultimately give my fiancée the seal of approval.  Mrs. B was beautiful inside and out. She will be dearly missed. 
To Mr. B, Andrew, Kevin, Matt and Hope: I love you guys and I am here for you should you need anything at all.

I had the pleasure of living nearby, in North Buffalo, and going to middle/high school with Matthew…and Michael was kind enough to drive Matthew and I to school most mornings.  Michael and Matthew would alternate playing DJ on our drives – I specifically recall Michael playing a collection of songs from the “Good Morning Vietnam” soundtrack, followed by Matthew’s rebuttal with classics from Wu Tang Clan’s Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

Needless to say, the drives to school were always entertaining, but I most looked forward to walking through the front door of their house on Depew (before we would depart) and being immediately greeted by their dogs, Hannah and Holley – both of whom would be wagging their tails excitedly, and showing off the full sized (whole) bagels that they were given by Rosemary as a morning treat…and there was always a bagel there waiting for me too.  If you entered that household, you could be sure that you would be well-fed and cared for by Rosemary.

Her desire to feed the world didn’t stop at their front door either.  Matthew’s brown bag lunches prepared by Rosemary every morning were legendary within our friend group.  She would load him up with enough excess snacks to feed the whole table…and, thankfully for us, Matthew shared her generous spirit and would gladly share these plentiful treats with whomever was lucky enough to be in the same lunch session as he.   

This generosity was present even when Rosemary and Michael would head out-of-town and leave the house in Matthew’s care.  Before leaving, she would make sure to stock the fridge and each of the (many) snack drawers/cupboards in the kitchen with insane amounts of every type of treat imaginable.  Our record achievement was concocting a 14 cheese pizza on one such trip…and we all still talk/think about of that pie to this day.

Rosemary was a true one of a kind and she will be dearly missed by all those lucky enough to have crossed her path…and I am very grateful to have been among them.

Rosemary often joked that she loved dogs more than people, but she deeply loved her family and friends. She loved having a full house, and was happy to have her Christmas Eve parties extend into the night with karaoke and laughter. She was famous for making too much food, or letting Danny Wegman do the cooking – enough for 100 more people than were attending. 

She also thoroughly enjoyed life’s quiet moments. An ideal evening was spent in her back yard with Michael and the dogs, looking at her gorgeous garden, with a glass of wine, music playing (“Call Me Maybe” on repeat) and a fire going. 

Rosemary’s greatest desire was for her children and grandchildren to be happy, and she would bask in their joy, though she also wouldn't refrain from a few good-natured jokes. She and Michael succeeded in raising four wonderful children who all have Rosemary’s fiercely loving heart. She was rightfully very proud of each of them. 

Rosemary was wonderful and welcoming and I will be forever grateful to have had her in my life. I wish we had more time, but I know that I will see her glimmering through all who knew her.

As Rosemary's neighbor in the past almost 14 years, I had the privilege to visit her beautiful house many times and get to know her and her fabulous family. She and Michael invited us to their holiday parties numerous times and I can still vividly remember the adorable decors that matched each season, delicious foods that were beautifully displayed, and the bright smiles on her face as well as every else’s. She replaced the wreath on her front door for each season, and we had many great conversations on their driveway, talking about gardening, kids, and many other things in our lives. We shared some memorable summer nights in their amazing backyard. She witnessed my two kids’ births and growth in the past about 12 years and each year, she gave them gifts on their birthdays. My kids and her grandchildren Calvin and Harper have had many playdates, even our pets hung out together. She told me that she enjoyed watching my cat and her dogs interacting with each other when my cat sat on the fence between our houses. Her love, kindness, generosity, and sense of humor toward life and people have touched me profoundly all these years and warmed me up when I went through difficult times. I am forever indebted to you, Rosemary. My deepest condolences for Rosemary’s family and my heart aches with you. I truly believe that Rosemary has been an angel and is back to heaven now and she shall be very happy for the beautiful family and legacy she has created in this life.

   Thank you for sharing your special mom with me all my life. I'm so grateful to have had her as an extra mom. I'll miss most backyard porch nights on depew,  a fully stocked junk drawer, Christmas Eve and knowing how loved I always was by her. So many beautiful memories I'll cherish forever. I know she's with my dad now and they're watching over us.
