Sharon Herdlein was a treasured member of the Buffalo Lille Association. She and Dick traveled to France and Belgium with our group. They generous entertained  the Lillois when they came to Western New York. We

First let me start off by saying, that I don't need to tell anyone what a   wonderful person Sharon was! Thats a given.
To me, Sharon was even more than a friend and co-worker, she was a motivator, a mentor and role model. She encouraged me to continue my education, which she also did for others. Along with always giving of herself, she would find every opportunity to volunteer and encourage me to do so (to be honest I probably would not have done without her "encouragement"), whether we assisted at the Corporate Challange first aid tent or passed out water bottles and sold raffle tickets for the Millard Fillmore golf tournaments, and many other charitable events to benefit the hospital. We would plan holiday parties together also, because we all know Sharon loved a great party!  
We spent a lot of time outside of work socially, where I got to see what a great Mom she was to Shannon, she wore a lot of hats, no pun intended. 
I am thankful for the time we spent together and the memories that I have with her, that will continue to live on in my heart. I am sure that this sentiment is true for all who experienced her zest for life. 
EVERYONE needs a SHARON in their life!

I met Sharon in 1993 when I began working at Louis Lazar Family Med Center (LLFM). 
Sharon was that “part” that always kept LLFM  in “working order”.
Sharon was welcoming to patients and coworkers alike; always a joy to work for and with.
Sharon was a skilled nurse, the absolute best; yet always tempered by practicality and common sense. 
Sharon was a teacher, and I learned so much from her!!!
Sharon was a prankster.  I retired on a Friday;  that Monday, at what would have been the start of my shift, I received a call asking “where are you?..you’re late!”  She had me there…for a few minutes anyway! 
Sadly, once mutually retired, our contact dwindled to a quick hug in an aisle at Dash’s Mkt, and more recently at Paula’s donuts!!!  Comfort was knowing we were each just a phone call away if needed.
Sharon was a person that made the world a better place!
And Sharon was a gatherer,  leave it to Sharon to bring us all together once again!   Sharon will be missed beyond any words !!!

We are truly sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure of being with Sharon at Vista  Royale. She was an instrumental part of our pickleball club. Treasurer extraordinaire. She could get gift cards for events like no other. Her enthusiasm and sweet nature were enjoyed by all. I hope she is having a ball painting all those chairs with so many colors up in heaven. She will always be greatly missed. Our sincerest condolences .

Richard and Susan I was so saddened to learn of Sharon’s passing. She was a  wonderful neighbor and friend. She fought valiantly during her illness  and yet always had a smile when meeting you and never complained about her struggles. Instead she would ask how you were doing. At our last get together in our “alley” she looked radiant and was so positive in her attitude! She will be missed by all of us at Wedgewood but never forgotten. My sympathy to her family.
