Uncle Tom was my father's youngest brother who treated me like a son. He gave me my first job at his AMOCO service station and also got me my first car, an Opel Kadet.  The memories and skills learned from Tom have stayed with me to this day.  I like to believe that I inherited his positive attitude and curly hair as I share 20% of of his DNA!  It certainly has been a blessing  visiting with Judy, Diane and the extented family the past several years.

I'll miss our Thursday morning coffee date.

My heart is with Tom's family & friends.  Unfortunately I will be out of town on Sept 6.  Farewell Tom.

Tom and Edna were our across the street neighbors. We moved about 12 years ago but we have such fond memories of our many visits with both of them.

Tom was kind, friendly, and quick to offer all the best advice. I remember well how proud they were of all their children and grandchildren. 

Your loss must feel tremendous as they just don’t make people like Tom anymore. Sending our sincerest condolences to the entire family.

Dear Diane and Jim & Family,
I was blessed to know Tom.  He was my back yard buddy for 30 years.  We shared a love of gardening and veggies.  Greeting you with a smile and a positive thought was always something you could count on.  He lived his life fully. 
You are all in my thoughts and prayers and may your memories of Tom bring you comfort and peace.

I have never met anyone like Tom❤️ we went to church with Tom and Edna for so many years! He always made us feel better with his smile and “  how you doing, buddy” or “ what a beautiful day” even if it was raining. 
We listened  to so many stories about his love of the Navy and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! We heard about him growing up in Force ,PA and climbing a mountain every morning just to look over his little town. Stories about his gas station, working at an ice cream shop, and all his time  in the Navy. 
I learned so much being in Tom’s stained glass club at the Senior Center and I will never forget him saying , “ you can do anything.”
We have many pieces of Tom’s stained glass, and I smile every time I look at one of them! 
My heart goes out to his family, but I know that Tom lived the best life he could and made everybody that was blessed to know him happy! Rest in peace, dear friend you’ve left a lot of memories❤️

I always enjoyed seeing your Dad!   He was so engaging and fun to chat with.   The stained glass pieces that he gave me will continue to remind us of him.  Greg has always enjoyed talking with him about the Navy, and we rewatched the video from the TV news.  He lived his life fully and he leaves a rich legacy.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.  RIP Uncle Tom❤️

Dear Diane & Jim and family,

I remember seeing your dad on the news being interviewed.  And I thought there's a gentleman who lived life to the fullest and shared his talents with others at the senior center.  May your memories of him bring you peace  and comfort at this difficult time.

I always enjoyed seeing and talking to Tom at church, home and his nursing home.  He was always at the back to the church to greet everyone with his smile.  When we took the collection we would hold hands.  Loved his support.

So sorry to hear this, I have a lot of great memories of "uncle tom", too many to list here like the gas station, baseball games of mine he came to, and just having fun with him when he was around. He will be missed...you have my deepest sympathies
