Alla Veitsman (née Krul), age 71, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. Born on May 8, 1954, in Kiev, Ukraine, Alla was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose warmth and quiet strength touched all who knew her.
Alla is survived by her loving husband, Leonid Veitsman. She was the cherished mother of Marianna Ohlinger and her husband Patrick, and the proud grandmother of Matthew and Brendon, who were the joy of her life.
She is also survived by her sister Helen Zlatkin and husband Eugene; her nephew Erik and his wife Resa, and their daughter Mila; and her niece Michelle Gillespie and husband Robert, along with their sons Austin and Mason. Alla is further remembered by her aunt Polina Feldman and husband Michael.
Alla’s life was defined by her dedication to family, her resilience, and the traditions she carried from her early years in Ukraine to her many years in the United States. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
