Bonnie Joan Davis

Bonnie Joan Davis, age 69, passed away on February 9th, 2024, with her sister at her side. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Millard E. Davis and Annette Beress Davis. She is survived by her loving sister Rhea Ellen Davis, nephew Aaron Bobinsky (Laura) and niece Rachel Stansfield. Bonnie was the great-aunt of Liam and Harper Stansfield and Theodore Bobinsky. She also leaves behind cherished cousins and friends.

Bonnie was born in Albany Park and as an infant, moved with her family to Skokie where she lived in the same house throughout her school years. She attended Northern Illinois University graduating with a degree in early childhood development and followed a different career path working as an executive assistant for several well-known downtown law firms. Bonnie especially enjoyed her “retirement” work at Mariano's where she became friends with her regular customers and shared her love of specialty cheeses. Bonnie had a great appreciation for the arts, regularly visiting the many museums of Chicago, attending theater performances, and going to the movies. She loved concerts especially the Chicago Symphony or the bands she could hear from Wrigley. She was a voracious reader and was a regular visitor to her Chicago Public Library branch. Bonnie had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many.
