My heartfelt condolences to Audrey, Julie, Debbie, Robbie and your families. Charlie was one of a kind and made everyone feel special.  I will miss him.

To the Dannn Family-My association  with Charlie was through the Aetna life and Casualty. I was the Engineering manager and a great admirer of  Charles and his professioal stall at the ann Bros  Agency.He  had a great personality and I enjoyed serving his various  accountsand attended  several meetings and agency sessions at his country club. Charles Dann was one of the most affable, funny, smart and kind men I have ever met.  I remember when I was in Law School and I needed car and renter's insurance.  I went up to his office on Wacker Drive and he met with me personally, went through the process step by step and retained a policy for me.  He could have asked his assistant to do it for me but not Mr. Dann--he took care of his son's friend from College personally and I have never once thought about changing agencys to this very day.

I last saw him at Rob's house for a fund raiser for Brad--there he was, listening intently to his son-in-law, as he described his points of view.  It wasn't until yesterday that I learned he was a Republican, yet he listened and marveled when he heard his son-in-law's speech--pretty good for a Republican.

Yesterday's service was one of the most moving, beautiful, touching and memorable sevices I have ever been to.. I was and am priviledged to have met Mr. Dann and his family and friends--there will never be another man like Chuck Dann.
