

In Loving Memory of David Preston Abramson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend, passed away on August 10th at the age of 68. He lived his life quietly yet powerfully, with a thoughtful presence that touched everyone who knew him. A man of deep generosity and unwavering loyalty, David combined his remarkable business acumen with a passionate commitment to cancer research and his enduring love for Israel. His work ethic was unmatched, his integrity unquestionable, and his word was as solid as his handshake. To those who needed help, he offered not just a hand, but the tools and encouragement to stand on their own. Competitive yet humble, analytical yet compassionate, David brought intensity and excellence to every endeavor, whether in the boardroom, in travel adventures across the globe, or in cheering for his beloved maize and blue. Above all, he was devoted to his wife, his children, and his grandchildren - the true joys of his life. He was an extraordinary provider, a constant source of strength and stability, and a steadfast example of love in action. David leaves behind his adoring wife, Leslie, his children, Scott Abramson (Brittany), Jaclyn Abramson (Eric Kulikauskas), and Dayna Abramson (Jared Smith), his beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Abbie, and Scarlett Abramson, Sebastian and Dawson Kulikauskas. David is also survived by his siblings: Cindy Shanker (Larry) and Mark Abramson (Debbi), as well as Leslie‘s mother, Sharon Greenberg, and Leslie's brother, Gary Greenberg (Rochelle). David is predeceased by his parents, Earl and Sharon Abramson, as well as Leslie‘s father, Larry Greenberg. A service to honor his life will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, August 13th, at Congregation Beth Shalom, 3433 Walters Ave, Northbrook , IL 60062. Interment at Shalom Memorial Park in Arlington Heights, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Israel Cancer Research Fund, in keeping with David's mission to end the suffering caused by cancer.
