Denise will forever be remembered for her unique beauty and kindness and for her joie de vivre. She had an unparalleled sense of style, which was an expression of her desire to bring order and beauty to the world. She enjoyed her artistic talents, and it was a great gift to receive one of her works of art or to hear her ideas about design. She had a genuine interest in and curiosity about everyone that she encountered. She was sharp-witted and observant and always wanted only the best for those she loved, which she did intensely and steadfastly. She especially loved children and wanted them to feel cared for and fulfilled. She had a radiant beauty and character, and her loss is felt deeply by all those who appreciated her friendship, and even more keenly by her two daughters Coline and Odile. Above all she is missed by her husband, Ariel, to whom she was a loyal and irreplaceable companion for close to sixty years.
