Frances G. Horwich, née Greenwald, 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Rancho Mirage on March 29, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Franklin E. Horwich. Loving mother of Marjorie (Stephen) Kulp and Carol H. Luber. Devoted grandmother of Pamela Masters, Dana (Josh) Silver, Joanna Galler, Aaron (Jana) Luber, and Benjamin Luber. Loving GG to Olivia, Alexandra, Samantha, Victoria, Remy, Bryn, and Weston. Frances was the matriarch of her family and was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her elegant style set a shining example of what it means to be a true woman of valor. Like her late husband, family and philanthropy were her highest priorities. Frances shared the last 14 years in the gracious company of her beloved care giver Stella.
Funeral service Friday, April 4, 12PM (noon) at Congregation Rodfei Zedek, 5200 S Hyde Park Blvd, Chicago, IL 60615. Interment Oak Woods Cemetery. Shiva will be held from 3-8PM at the Carlyle in the ballroom, 1040 N Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60611.
