Gary was a very knowledgeable, encouraging and kind mentor who helped me with my startup while at SCORE. His passion for helping was energizing. May he rest in peace.

I met Gary through the Cancer Wellness Center. I really liked him and thought he had a great attitude. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.

Gary helped me become a SCORE mentor. He was always so patient and kind with everyone he worked with. It was an honor to have known him.

On behalf of the SCORE Chicago and North Cook and Lake Counties Chapter, we want to express our deepest condolences to the Klow family, their friends, and others recognizing his passing.

Gary was a dedicated SCORE Mentor who joined the SCORE Chicago Chapter in October, 2016.  He quickly became one of our top mentoring producers and when the North Cook and Lake Counties Chapter was formed in October, 2018 he kept his role as a Branch Manager leading a team of mentors to help thousands of clients over the five plus years that followed.  He will be remembered for his dedication to the success of entrepreneurs and small business owners in a wide range of industries and communities, including his out of state clients from across the country.

I met Gary at LA Fitness where we would discuss politics, world news, human interest events and anything else while we were on our elliptical machines and then the bikes.  
We never lacked topics and often included others in our discussions.  The tedious exercise gave way to enjoyable time together and a friendship.  We picked each other’s brains from business decisions to home maintenance.  The time always flew by.  He will be greatly missed.
