Harold Arthur Shulman, age 94, of Glencoe IL, passed away on March 6, 2022. Beloved husband of Carole for 69 years. Proud father of Marla (Kevin) White and Michael (Kristie) Shulman. Dear grandfather of Bradley, Justin, Rebekah and Mathew, great grandfather to Gabriella White. Son of the late George and Adeline Shulman. Brother to the late Sylvia (Donald) Kanter. Harold spent his career as an Independent Insurance broker. Harold grew up on the West side of Chicago, attending Marshall High School and graduated from Roosevelt University. He loved volunteering as an usher at the South door for many years at North Shore Congregation Israel for the Jewish holidays, and was a Past President of the Men's Club at the synagogue. He was one of the founders of the Glencoe Boy's Little League and Pony league program. He also coached girls' baseball in Glencoe. A longtime member of GVS. Harold loved golf at the Glencoe Golf Club. As a long-time season ticket holder for the Chicago Bears, he rarely missed a home game - every home game Sunday was a family event. The funeral will be private with only close family members in attendance.
