

born June 7th, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Karl and Elizabeth Bock Siebert. She is
preceded in death by her parents and brother, Paul Siebert. Helen is survived by her loving
husband of 56 years, Tracy Freeman of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sons Wayne Freeman, wife
Jeannette, Glenn Freeman, wife Mary Lou; and four grandchildren, Hunter, Jeannette,
Katherine and Jack. Helen grew up in Chicago, part of the proud German American community. She married Tracy
at Fort Sheridan along Lake Michigan. Together they settled in Chicago, Wilmette and Glen Ellen
for over 50 years, before retiring to Hot Springs, AR. Helen was an accomplished artist and painter.
Her creativity had no boundaries. Known for being an excellent cook, she enjoyed all kinds of
celebrations especially when her cooking talents could be put to use. Helen was a loving and
devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. An avid dog lover, there were always
one or two as part her family. Helen is best remembered for her generous spirit and great kindness
towards others. She gave completely of herself to so many. Helen was compassionate to all. Helen
will be missed dearly, but the kindness she gave to others will be passed along for generations. Visitation Friday October 7, 2010 5:00-8:00PM at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette where funeral service will be held Saturday October 9, 2010 at 10:00AM.
