Howard Greene lived a long and fulfilling life of 104.5 years; one that should be celebrated, not mourned. Born in 1919 to Charles and Lena Greene in Chicago, IL. Howard was the fourth of six children. Father of April (Mario Remegi), Blair, Carter (Jennifer), Dennis (Lynne). Loving husband to Carole, and his late wife Lorraine. Stepfather to Julie Light. Zadie to Lindsey (Danny Becker), Jacob (Ashley) Remegi, Michael (Crystal), Samuel (Angelena), Maxwell, Stephanie, Emma, and Naomi. Great grandfather to Jackson, Owen, and Riley. Beloved uncle, great uncle, and great-great uncle.
Howard was a World War II veteran. He used his GI bill to become an attorney. Howard was also a religious man and a devoted member of Beth Hillel Bnai Emunah. His pleasures were many; including boating, water skiing, golf, tennis, paddle tennis, bike riding, and of course bags. Howard was constantly engrossed in all sorts of handiwork and projects around the home. Most importantly, and above all else, was family. These values and passions have been instilled to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
