James "Jimmy" Meitus, 78, beloved husband of Joyce Meitus; devoted father of Scott Meitus, Michael (Lisa) Meitus, Jonathan (Christina) Meitus, the late Daniel Meitus, and the late Jody Meitus; proud "Papa Jimmy" of Matthew, Sam, Charlie, Adam, Timothy, and Meghan Meitus; caring step-father to Margie Weiner, Randi (Jeff) Kriozere, and step-grandfather to Myla, Haley, and Ryan; loving son of the late Paul and Fay Meitus; caring brother of Linda (Jay) Schiff. Our Jimmy lived a full life on his terms. He loved his family, his friends, and sports of any shape and size, especially the Cubs. He will be missed dearly by all who were fortunate to know him.
