Jewel B. Spivack

Jewel Bernice Spivack, nee Chamison died peacefully on January 10th, 2024 in California. Wife of the late Marvin Spivack, Jewel was a loving mother to Philip Spivack, Cindy (Gary) Jacobs, Elaine (Marc) Altholz & Jerry (Sherri) Spivack. Loving grandmother to Laura, Sophie, Evan, Brian, Rachel, Lena and Molly. A very proud great grandmother to Max, Wyatt, Austin, Crew and Avery. Jewel was preceded in death by her parents Ida and Philip Chamison, as well as her sister Mildred (Herb) Lieb.

Jewel was born in Chicago on December 11, 1936. She attended Senn High School. They were married for 67 years. They raised their family in Skokie, as well as Morton Grove, IL, before moving to Tucson, AZ, in the early 80's where they lived up until a few years ago when Jewel moved to LA to be closer to her family.

Jewel loved tap-dancing and belonged to the Prunce Juice Folies well into her 70's.

A funeral service for Jewel will be held on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Weinstein and Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL. Interment Waldheim Cemetery. Following interment, shiva will take place at Max and Benny's, 461 Waukegan Road, Northbrook, IL.
