Judith Vera Western, nee Lippert, 79. Beloved mother of Heather (Ronald) Salinger, Jessica (William) Szmergalski, and Jennifer (Matthew) Hauser; proud grandmother of Nicholas and Justin Salinger, Madeline and Andrew Szmergalski, and Whitney and Sonya Hauser; treasured sister of Susan (Munro) Levitzky, Catherine (late Charles) Cash, and Lisa (Michael) Dilich; former spouse of Dr. Dennis Western; loving aunt of many; devoted dogmom of Bella and Fergie. Judy loved deeply and was loved by many. She brought people together through her many hobbies and eclectic interests. She helped found the Scottish Terrier Club of America, the Wausau Kayak Club, and the Suburban Aquarist Society of Chicagoland, among others. She was an excellent friend and listener.
