Leo Faynshteyn, age 72 from Buffalo Grove, IL. Beloved husband of Ludemilla for 39 years; cherished father of Roman (Whitney) Faynshteyn, Jane (Boris) Kholyavsky; adoring grandfather of Nona, Maks, and Nathan; dear brother of Larisa (David) Golub.
Leo was an engineer by training and brought an engineering mindset to everything he did. He was thoughtful, organized, and methodical. He was athletic and enjoyed many sports, including cycling, soccer, and basketball. Leo was known for his love of cars,ability to tell jokes, personable nature, and firm handshake.
