Michael was a devoted family man who deeply cherished time with his loved ones. He found joy in life’s simple, everyday moments and took great pride in the country he made his home after immigrating in 1989. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and warm sense of humor.
Michael is survived by his son, Alex, and his grandson, Samuel, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ilona.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers, medical staff, and friends who provided support and compassion throughout Michael’s illness.
Michael’s strength and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service will take place Friday, April 10, 1PM at Ridgewood Memorial Park Swan Chapel, 9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment to follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park.
