Mort was dedicated to his family and the Jewish community. He was known for his generous spirit and ability to make those around him laugh. He was an enthusiastic teacher whose thirst for knowledge could never be quenched.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend for the last 10 years Sandy Satinover, his stepchildren Brian and David (Shama), and Marlene Perry, his dear sister-in-law, who became a treasured part of his family. He is also survived by his cousins Norman and Ilene Iglarsh.
Shiva will be held at Sandy Satinover’s home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom or the American Lung Association.
