Dearest Hanna Family, (Beck, Harrington etc)
I just wanted to thank you for the kindness your whole family showed me as I was caring for you Mom/grandma! I am so lucky to have met you all especially Ruthie because she taught me a lot about life and just continued where my Mom left off when she passed 2 yrs ago and I know Ruthie  Hanna and Anna Dun are looking down from heaven on us. Both women were my role models and showed me what it means to be a “lady.” I thank you for giving me privilege to care for your Mom/ Grandma! I know this is a hard time but only time will help heal your  broken hearts.💔   May our beloved mothers Rest In Peace in Heaven with all the other Angels !

I just want you to know that Ruth was my very best friend and I will miss her more than I can say.  She looked beautiful and restful at the funeral parlor.  God bless all of you in the death of your precious mother.

My friend Ruthie was such a warm, kind, strong and tenacious woman.  I first met Ruthie, Joy, Jaci, and Johnny shortly after my Mom passed away and I consider myself blessed to know the Hanna family. It was a such a pleasure getting to know  Ruthie while I cared for her.  She always expressed gratitude for my help and she was such a great influence on me. When she woke in the morning she would always recite this beautiful quote “Today is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in.”We would always plan out our next day and giggle as we both  laid out the clothes we would wear and plan out appointments and events. If I had something on my mind Ruthie would smile and point to a little plaque in her kitchen that read “breathe in eat out .” We would go out to eat at her favorite restaurants at times and everyone knew and respected Ruthie everywhere we went. She was the most active 102 year old that I have ever known. We would spend our days  taking care of any work we had while making each other laugh. She knew I was her advocate in regards to her health and she would always introduce me as her friend. It was an honor to have known Mrs Ruth Hanna. She was my role model. I had so much respect and love for her. Words cannot express how much I miss her. 

I was privileged to know Ruth through the Midwest Antiques Club and it was always a pleasure to be in her company. The words lovely, smart, charming, beautiful, and ageless come to mind when I think of her. She was a very special person and will be greatly missed.

Ruth will always have a especially place in my heart. She was always warm and welcoming to me and everyone. She was interested in the world around her and everyone she met. Ruth was a true definition of the word “lady”. I knew her as an active member of the Midwestern Antiques Club. I will miss her very much.

She was absolutely my favorite lady, and a real lady she was. I first met her through Jane Anderson and loved being with her at University Guild and Midwest Antiques Club. Always beautiful and I never noticed any compromise of her mental faculties even at 102. How lucky I was to know this lady who always greeted me so warmly.
