Sylvia Golan, 86. Beloved daughter of the late Sol and Bertha; treasured sister of Marilynn (Charles) Rivkin; loving aunt of Steve (Hana) Rivkin, Tom (Viki) Rivkin, and Larry (Michele) Rivkin; devoted great-aunt of Lauren, Leah, Megan, Michael, Joey, Emmi, Brady, and Jack; close cousin of Nancy Borowsky; dedicated and enthusiastic elementary school teacher; and passionate Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears fan. Funeral service Sunday, April 24, 1:30 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Interment private.
