On Tuesday, October 18, 2022 Vicente B. Rodriquez was called home at the age of 89. The world has lost a great husband, father, and grandfather. Vicente was born in Caibarien, Cuba, on August 24, 1933. He immigrated to the United States in 1967, moving to Chicago, Illinois that same year.
If you asked Vicente, his greatest accomplishment, it was being a father. Vicente met his wife Isora Landin through a family friend. It was love at first sight and a few months later were married May 24, 1968. That love grew to include Isora’s daughter, Maria E. Gonzalez and then their son, Vincent Rodriguez.
Vicente is survived by his wife Isora, sisters Gladys Portuondo and Norma Rodriguez, daughter Maria, grandchildren Vincent, Miranda, and Paige. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Vicente Rodriguez and Lilia Rojas, and son Vincent Rodriguez.
