Vladimir Drut, born September 28, 1930, son of loving parents Isaac and Dina Drut, beloved husband for 52 years of Alla Lisovaya, devoted father of Inna (Craig Roth) Drut, adoring grandfather of Daniel and Alina Roth. Vladimir earned an MS in Engineering and had a very successful 35+ years ship engineering career with numerous awards and patents in Odessa, Ukraine. After immigrating to the US in 1991 as a refugee, he found a new career in accounting, and established roots in the Jewish American and Jewish Ex-Soviet communities. Vladimir was an avid reader and music lover and spent his free time pursuing his passion for classical music and helping others. He had a great sense of humor, was polite, respectful, and always friendly till the very last day. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. A graveside service for Vladimir will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022, 12:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL 60076.
