

Daniel was born in Kinston, NC on May 1,1961 to Theresa Swain and Albert Page Waller. He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Page Waller and brother, Tim Waller.
Daniel was an amazing husband of 44 years, father and grandpa. His main priority in life was the well-being of his family. Daniel was loved and touched by all that knew him.
Daniel had a passion for the ocean. He was an avid surfer at Carolina Beach and continued teaching his son Chris to surf. Daniel was an avid fisherman, enjoying the Lord’s creation of the sounds and waterways. Many weekends were spent as a family catching fish and bringing them home to cook.
Daniel was a master electrician with many accomplishments in the film industry. Later in life, he obtained his CDL and joined the Teamsters Union driving trucks for the film productions.
Daniel’s greatest accomplishment was being an amazing father. His love, care and support had no bounds. He taught Chris the essential skills of working with tools, the value of hard work, when to defend and when to love. He spent thousands of hours surfing and fishing with his son, and gave a childhood filled with constant fun and joy. Later, he served as a moral compass, a giver of advice, and a constant line of support.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Lori Waller of 44 years; son, Chris and his fiancé Dalyn; mother, Theresa Swain and her husband Joe; brother, Gerald Waller; grandson, Hayden Waller; nieces, Jessica Waller and Angel Fuller; and nephews, Abel Waller and David Ward.
A visitation for Albert will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
A Celebration of Life Service will start at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the Coble Chapel with Pastor Pat Hall officiating.
