Barbara Ann Garner Barbara Ann Garner, 75, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Barbara was born December 3, 1934 in Ashland, KY, daughter of the late Walter and Eula Montgomery. Mrs. Garner faithfully lived for the Lord. She loved children and dogs. Everyone loved her as she also loved them. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William E. Garner; a sister, Roberta Thomas and husband, Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Friday, January 29, 2010 at Andrews Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Castle Hayne Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Sea Lawn Memorial Park, Hampstead, NC.
