Barbara Deans Lane

BJ was born July 5, 1935 in Wilson, North Carolina, the daughter of Annie Louise Sharp Deans and Stephen Grady Deans. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Frances Holdford Goodman, Roy Raymond Holdford III (Gina), Barbara Anne Holdford Montague, Leslie Lane Corbett (Tommy), Carter Herring Lane (Jennifer), Peirson Freeman Lane, Scott Lane Hair (Brent), and thirteen grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother, John Frederick Deans (Bobbie).

The family would like to thank the staff at Bradley Creek Health Center and her caregivers, Elsie, Val, Anna Marie, Hillary and Jazz. 

A service will be held at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Wilson at 11:00 am on April 14th with a reception in the Parish Hall following the service.
